Thank you all so much for your prayers concerning my little grandson.

I spoke with my daughter this morning down in Lake Charles, Louisiana and of course, they're still in the hospital, but thus far the doctors are leaning toward this being what's known as Feverol Seizures, which they say are quite common in children from 1 - 3 years old. I've personally never heard of it, but I've found it on the internet. They say that seizures are sometimes brought on by fever in their bodies and he's been running a little fever, because of getting shots last week and teething. They are still awaiting the results though of the spinal tap, so I'm must praying that this is an isolated incident and that it was fever related and there is nothing major wrong.

Please continue to pray and thank you so much for all that you've already done. I don't know what people do who don't have prayer to turn to in their times of helplessness.

Gratefully in His grip,
Pastor Robbie

Thank you so much for the prayers Brother Ron. He's still in the hospital, but is scheduled to go home tomorrow. He's doing much better and they have ruled out all major illness. They found that he had a viral infection, which gave him a fever and the fever caused the seizures. I am so grateful. Thank you ALL for your prayers. You're a wonderful group of people.

Also, thanks for saying that I look too young. I'm 40 years old actually, but sometimes I feel about 60. lol... All 3 of my children are grown and gone. My daughter is the only one married though and she's the youngest. She's married to great Christian guy and they serve the Lord with all of their hearts.

Re: Please Pray for My Grandson...

Febrile seizures are very common. Spinal taps take a couple of days to grow bacteria, if there are any.

I'm glad to hear that it's just viral. As long as his immune system is healthy, he'll recover pretty quickly from a viral illness. And as long as they keep the fever under control, the risk of any further seizures should be minimal.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Thanks so much. I had never heard of this until now. I misspelled it previously. Anyhow, we are just so grateful and we've come to find out that yes, it is quite common. Have you had dealings with this before?
