My favorite is the KJV and my next favoriate is the ESV. I like them both because the scholarship of each translation was very dedicated to being essentially literal as opposed to dynamic.
I use a wide variety of Bible translations but the KJV and the ESV are my favs. I also enjoy the NASB. I'll use the NLT or the Message for paraphrases and looser teaching environments.
Seriously, I also recommend the Maxwell Leadership Bible to all church leaders. It is a phenomenal, practical Bible that has really enriched my ministry.

My favorite is the KJV. My Bible program has 13 different translations, including the NIV (Normally Incorrect Version) and The Message (It's ok, but I can't say I prefer it.
