I was just telling a friend of mine this morning how much I respected Bro. Epley and that even though he comes across harsh on the forum, I have no doubt that he truly loves people and wants to see us all saved as he believes we should be.

Bro, I want you back here. You are more important than you realize.

I agree wholeheartedly!

The mix is what makes this work - I'm not interested in an ex-UPC forum and I highly doubt this forum will ever become that. You take the good with the bad (and just ignore the bad).

The what I see as 'hatred' toward Pentecost is general is becoming more and more open and vicious. Maybe this will become an ex-Pentecostal site where disgruntles can cast stones at the womb that gave them birth. Healthy and heated discussions are one thing but this continual and more and more aggressive posts which are laden with anti-Pentecostalism is general is becoming more than I can bear. It is becoming harder to leave these asaults at the computer I do not want to carry them with me. I pray for each of you that seem to have been hurt beyond repair that somewhere the God of Heaven will heal your hurts and wounds that you might again be restored to the Apostolic fatih. This could very well be my last post on this forum. So farewell in case I don't return.

I like you Epley......This is not turning into the Spiritual Abuse everthing about pentecost is bad Forum.

Lurk, but don't jerk the plug.

Steve,

Notice the attitude you brought into the thread called the Name? What if people want to discuss a fuller aspect of it? It seems you always feel you have to react against the Hebrew name.

Other things may bother you but this seems to be something you consider really dangerous. I am amazed at that way of thinking.

It is very rare I agree with anyone on any of the boards. If I am not counted Apostolic by people that is a small thing. I love truth no matter where it leads. I am one who believes the Apostolic movement must move on. Not to more sin and false doctrine but to the full and pure truth.

If I get frustrated with this or other forums all I have to do is just go and do something else till I am ready to come back. Maybe a week, month or maybe never. If I were to leave no one would even notice. Yet as long as I am welcome here if I do post it will be in topics I am passionate about.

If there are none I wont post just to be posting. If topics I consider important are being discussed I will contend for what I believe is the faith once delivered to the Saints.

Same here - My daughter was backslid and then prayed through a few months ago - she went to Pastor Jentezen Franklin and asked if he would baptize her and he said Certainly I will. She said - Will you baptize me in Jesus Name like Peter baptized?
I was shocked that she had sense enough to do that to tell you the truth - she has been out of church for 3 years. This pastor of 10,000 people said - "I will say In the name of the Father, The Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost." She said - "Well - I have to be baptized in Jesus Name so if you won't baptize me the way Peter did - I just won't be baptized!"
You guys sometimes think we compromise EVERYTHING - but that is not true. I have NEVER baptized anyone any other way but in Jesus Name and never will!
