Can you drive to another town? There are many folks on here from Tennessee, maybe they can help you find a Oneness fellowship.

We are affected by those we fellowship with. If you hang around wise men, you will be come wise, if you hang our with angry men, you will learn their ways, evil communications corrupt good manners. In the long run if you stick around false doctrine long enough you will either believe it, become apathetic to the doctrine, or have to leave.
As for losing your salvation of a Trinitarian pew, maybe.

We could but everything is at least 30 min away. If I was still a staunch believer in all things OP than I guess I would drive it even though I have:
(1- a teenager who needs to be involved) 2-a 3 yr old who has special needs and 3-a baby) also my husband has to work a lot of Sunday afternoons so we need to be close because he has to drive 50 min or so to work. but I have to agree with JTull that I just don't get that Trinity feeling everytime I walk in the door. ....my husband was not raised in UPC and he mostly has gone to Christ Church in Nashville before now. He says it seems we are all saying the same thing. I'm not sure about that though.

When they get to talking about God from a three person stand point it irks my spirit as I know it is wrong.
Why would one go to a Church that teaches false doctrine?

Well said.
Why would a Oneness believer feel that a pastor who is way off on as essential an issue as the Godhead will be on target on other important biblical issues?
I think in many cases, deep down, they just dont think Godhead doctrine is really that important ... which is be unfortunate, in my opinion.
Personally, I couldnt do it. Just hearing preachers say stuff like: "Praise God the Father, and the Son, and Praise the Holy Ghost" just makes my skin crawl.

JT, I would disagree with you because a lot of what trinitarians preach is peppered with trinitarian beliefs. They may not actually be teaching the doctrine in all their preaching, but their preaching certainly reinforces the doctrine. It's no different with oneness preaching and oneness doctrine.

I would have to disagree with that from a oneness standpoint.
My pastor is a great preacher but I cannot recall much on the Godhead.

Has your preacher ever referred to Jesus as God in his preaching? If so, that would be an example of what I am talking about. How about when referring to some red letter text out of the NT and saying something to the effect of, "God said such and thus". Every time he baptizes someone in Jesus name he is reinforcing oneness doctrine as well. You hear it a lot, you may not be very much aware of it though.
I've seen trinitarian preachers actually correct themselves in the pulpit when they meant to say God and said Jesus instead, and vice versa. That's an example of reinforcing trinity doctrine. They also pray an awful lot in the titles (something you don't see very often at all in oneness churches). Every time they baptize someone using the titles they reinforce trinitarian doctrine.

I am very aware of it now that I understand what you were saying. I've never spent much time in a trinitarian church so I don't have a lot to go on.
I do think however that the trnitarian preaching you describe probably does not go on much in the church that I'm talking about.
