No doubt that God is a healer. I do doubt it when everyone says that God healed them. I am DEFINATELY NOT a nay sayer. I am VERY MUCH a man of faith. I see things differently cause I once though God healed my broken foot cause when I was at church I could jump up and down in worship. I really did that and the next morning I woke up and my foot was WAY worse. I woul respond to this like you really believe it and now she needs DR. confirmation to show the miracle God performed. If she is not healed I would tell her that her faith is in the right place and that God is a rewarder of that kinda faith. That if healing did not happy at that moment that God is increasing her faith altogther. Not an easy convesation, but one that must be had.

I have seen healings. I have also seen people dancing on broken legs, with the endorphins produced by the worship blocking the pain making them think they were healed. Afterwords they found permanent damage done because of the jumping. Oh yes, the crutches were thrown away that night because the searing pain set in a few hours later......
Were you there the night that happened to me? ha Things that we do when we have 'enough faith'. How many time have you seen people with faith try to help someone in a wheel chair to try and get up? I have seen it lots and you know what the healing didn't happen. I did see a lady that we in a wheelchair for 19 years want to get baptized and she came up outta the water jumping and dancing. She walked down ALL 15 steps from the baptisimal pool into the sanctuary and walked around pushing her wheel chair all over the sanctuary. That was cool

How can you tell if it's a real healing?
Why would God really heal just a few people? It would seem to encourage dangerous behavior like the broken leg dancing, or throwing away meds.
Should people believe scriptures such as James 5:14 say what they look like they say, or not? Should they work really hard at explaining why James 5:14doesn't mean what it looks like it means?
How many people have died from believing those "promises" of healing?

get her in a local drug store or a Wal Mart today. They have those blood pressure machines. The Dr. could be a few days in seeing her and she could stroke out in the meantime. Depends on how out of control her pressure is.

UPDATE: She was talked into taking her blood pressure medicine after her blood pressure shot up over night! The Parkinson's medicine is still on hold, as it only effects the symptoms. If the shaking and stiffness returns, she'll take the medicine again.
