My dad's were Texaco - - the man with the STAR!

I loved gas station drinks back then. There was one next to our church, and sometimes the owner would give you a free Coke in the little bottle. But if not they were only a nickel. I also got a bag of peanuts to put in my Coke.

Go to Rio Linda CA, last time I was there (bout three years ago) there was still a texaco.

We used to do that too!
I don't remember sodey-pops being a nickel, but I can remember the glass bottles. Mom would let us take them back to the store so we could get the deposit from them. We used that money to buy our candy and baseball cards!
