Oh my, Ron, I'm so very sorry. I cannot imagine living through this, as a family.

Usually you just deal with it, but strange this train suicide and the 40 Th anniversary just brings up some feelings you had thought were buried.
I was 4 years old.
This family will be scarred for life.

Sorry to have brought up bad memories for you. I wouldn't have even posted it if I had known.

Sherri, that's okay. It was right for you to post that.
It happened & you were affected by it and rightly so.
I are a big boy, I have been through a few tough things.
Right now I just feel for those people who are hurting right now.
One thing I have appreciated about you and your husband is your love and compassion for people especially the hurting in other lands.
We all need to be that way.
I was just being a little honest in opening my feelings a bit, I don't want you to feel bad.

Well, I guess this includes you tonight, since you're up in that far off Canada land.
Seriously, now I'm crying. My heart hurts for you.

Thanks, I will be okay.
It is nice to know that there are many Brothers and Sisters who generally care about one another.

Re: Someone hit by the train!
This is so sad to hear. I was thinking as I read about how it was said how common it is there. I wonder how the train engineer/conductor is dealing with this. I pray for all who are affected by these losses. Again so very sad.

In Most Cases:
Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
The real victims of suicide are the family members and loved ones. They burden the guilt for years of, if I had been a better parent, if I had been a better wife, if I had been a better brother, then they would not have killed themselves. I don't want to use the word selfish, but in many cases (not all) of suicide, the person was thinking only of them self.

ps: If you have had a loved on the committed suicide please do not be offended. This was intended to be a GENERAL statement, and particular cases may be different.

We never heard whether it was a suicide or not, but they said it probably was. I guess this is kind of common here - jumping in front of a train. I have been praying for the family, but I haven't heard anything on the news. What a sad way to end life.

I've looked for any news to verify if it was a suicide or an accident, but I haven't found anything about a person being hit by a train. There was a train accident in the Bay Area, but it was on Saturday 2 PM.
If you click on the link below, you'll see an article and a video that was captured when one train collided with another train.

Glad you made it home safely.
