Gas can still be had for $3.75 at one station I've seen, but it goes up from there. I just heard them say on the news that one station in town is charging $4.21!!!

Amazing.
I remember a few years ago when I was complaining about gas being $2.25 a gallon!
Sad to say, I dont think we'll ever see $2.25 again.

Re: It's official. $4 a gallon for gas
I filled up for $3.69/gal yesterday. I was told on mapquest that it would be $3.62/gal, but it went up... it was still fairly cheap. I get gas on my way to church services, wherever it is cheapest, over the course of my 70 mile drive...
GOD BLESS!

Yep... Im afraid my prayer for .75 gas is a wasted prayer. Maybe I should pray for 2.75 a gallon!

Hattiesburg, Mississippi - $3.89 and at the rate it's going, pretty soon we may be talking about the good old days when gas was ONLY $3.89!

Re: It's official. $4 a gallon for gas
Albertsons is offering .50 off per gallon of gas with a $100 grocery purchase. Of course if you buy $100 of groceries at Albertson's, in reality you over paid $40 anyway, so the gas savings don't add up. It is a good concept though, instead of the usual .03 cents or .05 cents off per gallon.
My new car will be a 10-speed huffy. Now I know why the mormons drive them.

Re: It's official. $4 a gallon for gas
Sun night I filled up at 3.71, but using Kroger card it was 3 cents off as always, and then I had the Kroger receipt which saved me 10 cents more a gal.
By Tues it was higher; on Wed it was 3.85 for the same station.
In high school it was 29 cents; of course min wage was $1.
