Went to buy my tiller last night. And low and behold the rain that wasn't "supposed" to be, rained on us coming home with the tiller on the trailer in a box!
My hubby put a tarp over it but didn't have the necessary items to tie it down good, so the wind blew the tarp off the box before we got home. Then we had to unload it in the rain!
I am waiting on the repairman to get here to finish fixing my refrig that came with the house. Then I have to be in Houston to meet the carpet cleaners. So much to do with moving.
Not sure I will ever finish unpacking!!!!

The story continues.
We received a call Friday night from carpet cleaners asking to reschedule our appointment for Sat morning, as they had another job they needed to do that afternoon. My husband explained we could not as we had the appliance man scheduled to come that morning to finish fixing the frig.
Sat morn he calls to tell me they will only be able to clean and not stretch the carpet as they have to see it to give us a bid on the cost, that they had already quoted via phone. Then he told me he only had three sets of equipment and that he would have to see what he could do. I told him they had already scheduled me for cleaning and stretching the carpet, and I was aware of the cost and had agreed to it. Then he said he would see about getting a crew there since I was aware of the cost.
Long story shorter, we go to Houston and they never call nor show up!

from that sweet lady we met in Houston. The one who ate with us when
we ate with Bro. & Sis. Strange.
