Lets be real here.
Anyone who has been paying attention here can see that it often leads to arguments. I'm sure you're very aware of that.
After a while the arguing, or "grinding", gets very old.

What underlying point might that be?
I note you've stayed on to defend the doctrine you know and love. Why would not others want to?
I just don't think that packing it in and leaving is the answer. Whose mind do you change sitting in a forum that allows only those who think exactly like you do? Where is the growth?
One of the most memorable services for me was one that ended in this...
