Had our first Church meeting to organize our first Church Service tomorrow!
There are seven of us, we expect 15 in our first service, & some speculate with visitors it could be over 30 in our first service!

When my father decided to start a work OUT IN THE COUNTRY back in '67 they had 12 for the first service. There was 12 inches or so of snow on the ground. 10 of the twelve were my family. I am the baby of 8 kids plus my parents that makes 10. We had 2 neighbor kids. by the end of '68 there were about 100 by '71 or '72 there were over 350.

That is just a bit of encouragement for you. When God opens doors no man can shut them. If God ordains it then it will prosper. Just follow Him and work with all you have in you and God will honor your efforts.

Church planting is FUN!!! You will love it because everyone who comes in is so excited to be there. No long-time saints with preconceived notions. It's actually very refreshing.

Ron,

I received the Holy Ghost as a renagade 11 year old second generation UPC'r.

In Ft Worth Texas, where my day was the dean of theology for Mark Hanby's bible college.

The rest is history.

I now attend a non UPC church...

Saturday before Easter our Pastor dedicated the new building for our 'former' daughter work. They have grown up and are no longer considered a mission work now.

God is working and moving in AMERICA still.
