Re: Cologne and Perfumes

I never heard anything about wearing or not wearing perfume, colonge etc until me moved here.
I loved the fragrance Ole Cassini but my chemistry doesn't like it. I like Sand & Sable I use it sparingly as its not available on the island. DH wears Stetson.

Re: Cologne and Perfumes

I do not wear it myself and I get sick if I smell perfume or cologne on others. It is okay if there is a small wisp of either but a lot of people wear overpowering fragrances.

If someone has an issue with it, might I suggest that they just not wear fragrance? After all, if they find it to be such a turn on, then maybe there is an underlying problem of lust in their lives that should be dealt with.
Just a thought...
RevDooley, that is such good thinking! Frankly, it applies to many other things besides just cologne as well.......... ie. if wearing (necklaces, open toed shoes, colored hose, pants, etc., etc.,) bothers you, then don't wear them.

I've told before on here about a pastor I had who told us that a woman wearing a necklace was wrong because when a man looks at her with it on, he doesn't look at her face. He looks at the necklace and then his eyes wander down. I told him that it sounded to me like if a man feels that way, then he has a personal problem. It's not the woman's problem. It's his. He needs to get his mind out of the gutter. After all, when a man wears a great belt buckle, you don't hear women saying that their eyes just naturally wander south from there.

Sorry. Carry on.

LOL, GBG! I think Stephen was referring to you here:

In another thread I read that a female poster considered a male wearing cologne as a huge turn on and even percieved as coming on to her.

It made me wonder how others felt about it and perhaps more importantly if I, as a married man, should be wearing the stuff....

Soooo.... tell me do you wear it ? If yes, why? If no, why not?

Perfumes and Colognes... should we wear them??
SH,
That's ridiculous. LOL So, when she walks through the mall every man present is making a pass at her? LOL! I'll stop and ask them next time I'm there.

"Hey, you really smell fine as wine. I think you are coming on to me. Am I right?"

I LOVE perfume and cologne. Calla by Isabell is my favorite, Opium, Ralph Lauren's Romance. Any man's cologne is awesome.
