There are Christians who are very bad examples... does that count?

Re: Are you a Christian?

One thing I realize about myself is that I am a lot more forgiving toward nonChristians than Christians. (I'm more likely to hold grudges against someone who ought to know better.)

How wrong is that???

Well, you know what they say ... admitting it is half the problem.

I am working on it ... letting go of anger and resentments. Y'all pray for me ... 'K???

Re: Are you a Christian?

But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his wonderful name! 1Pe 4:16 New Living Translation © 1996 Tyndale Charitable Trust

I thought about this verse as I read Sis. Alvears post. Good verse. But the verse before it makes me have to admit: I TRY to be a Christian. I try.

1Pe 4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or [as] a thief, or [as] an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

Thats one way of looking at it (underlined, above). But, look at it this way... Admitting to it is ALSO half the solution, too. So, I'll pray for you...if you'll pray for me.....'K?
