I love GRs, but Labs are still tops in my book too. They are great family dogs and very loyal.

I have some friends here at church that have a yellow lab pup. The parents are chocolate labs and the breeders were surprised a yellow lab came out lol. They don't know how it is going to work out because they are moving to a Condo that is more like an apartment and they both work. Poor dog gets lonely

YES - still alive and married. My husband and son are teasing me that they are going to shoot it. My husband tells my son, "You want to borrow my gun?" 
I'm currently protecting the dog from the male inhabitants of this house AND my husband is off today - more work!
He said he might like it in two or three years. Whatever! I'm not sure he realizes it sleeps in the spare bedroom at night. 
He actually confessed he was jealous that I was giving the dog more attention! I'm like, "You have got to be kidding? You're kidding me right?"
He's not kidding.
