ROFL!

Yes, I remember when I was ten, but I can't tell you what I learned in Sunday School. I remember being there, but I just can't remember what I learned exactly. I was also in school, but I can't tell you the names of three kids in my class. Thinks that I learned up until I was ten really don't matter to me today. I have learned a lot since I was ten that has made me into the person I am today.

Do you not believe that God changes people? This guy is a Christian according to his own lips. If that's true, why are you underestimating the power of God?

That's exactly what you are doing if you think this guy will suddenly become Muslim in office after all these years.

Like someone else said, it's his politics that bother me more than his name or how he was raised.

Combination of both.

I can respect that you don't share his political views.

It's when people discriminate against others because of their race, ethnic background, creed, sex, etc...that all my respect goes out the window. I wonder if God is pleased when we discriminate against others like the world does?

Sometimes, it gets very hard to recognize some folks as Christians when they don't demonstrate the love of Christ. People continue to judge others without any noticeable concern on how it must grieve the Lord and how it may effect them on judgment day.

That by itself is a reason not to vote for him. No one knows how he looks at the Muslim faith. His father was Muslim and his mother did not reject it, or they would not had given him that name.

Who was he named after with a middle name “Hussein”

In this time in history we don’t need to take any chances.

Hussein was a grandson of the Prophet Mohammed. I don't have a problem with his name. Michael Savage does, though.

Not nearly so much as his black separatist church bothers me. An Obama presidency is not likely to help race relations.

So is Jesse Jackson but his record doesn't ring true. From my own lips, I'm a Dr. but you don't want me to operate on you.

Re: Does anyone have a problem with Obama's name?

No,I have no problem witn it. He can not help what he was named. Now if he was born one name then changed it to that it becomes a little different, but still no problem for me. I have known many, many people with these types of names and they have been great American citizens. Infact, even though I am not for much of what he is for I am not too sure I would have a problem with him being the Prez. I would however rather McCain win.

I now have a problem with him. I think he is lying about the knowledge of his pastor's point of view on the USA.

Obama will not be president.

I am starting to think John M will win...

I do not have a problem with his name. I disagree with a few of his positions. I hope he makes it to the general election as I really would like to see McCain and Obama square off.

I think he's lying about his pastor and religious stance and his loyalty to America too. I wonder if his name is a warning sign for us??

I hope you are right -- that he will NOT be president.
