That is why I appreciate the mission field so much--there just doesn't seem to be the pressure over there as it is here.

It also is certainly true that metacognition, much less critical thinking is becoming a lost art in our society, "dumbing down" is not the answer.

I still believe we might be surprised at just how much the unchurched are tired of positive mental attitude lectures posing as sermons.
