Not really. If every preacher in Tulsa was UPC (and they weren't), and if every one of those preachers signed up for the WwPF (and they didn't), then there would be about a 10% loss (or less) in UPC members.
Given the fact that the catalyst of the meeting (Resolution #4) had a vote of something like 55 - 45% I'd say that the WwPF didn't even persuade their target audience.

I saw the same guy twice. They say that one of the speakers (Johnny Godair?) preached against "facial hair" when he was reading his laundry list.
Also, it was reported that the professional photographer who was hired to take these pics had a mustache.
It's sad that we have to even mention stuff like that. How on earth did we get stuck on an idea that men must shave their faces smooth like a woman's?
**Just saw a second guy that I had missed earlier. So there's "the same guy twice" with a goatee and another gentleman in the food line with a growing beard. I wonder if either of them signed up.

Re: Official Tulsa Report, Pictures, and Comments
according to Reckert half the number @ the Tulsa Tango were spouses and family mbrs of the minister. The real question is how many were upci. Not as many as the west coast mafia would have hoped.

He'd probably go carrying on about the compromise evident in each of those pictures that didn't have a buffet table in it.
