Our youth pastor and team (which includes my husband and another young minister) did this fast a while back. It was hard for them at first but after the first few days, their bodies adjusted. They had some of the most awesome prayer times during that fast!

We have done the Daniel Fast many times. My eleven year old son loves it. He is always asking when we are going to do the Daniel Fast again.

We've had lots of people do this fast. We had several this year go on it for forty days. Our whole church was fasting for 40 days, but you could do whatever kind of fast you felt like you were supposed to.

I sometimes watch a German service on the internet from www.dietaube.org which is a church in Heidelberg and last sundays message included some announcement of doing this Daniel fasting. Interesting that it popped up here as a topic! I had never heard of it before last weekend.

Could those of you who have done it, put some recipes on here for the rest of us? I had a hard time with what to eat. A few recipes would help alot. Thanks
