Re: Johnny Godair's Message at WAF 2008

Hear Hear Lucylou!!!! This isn't altogether "friendly" here. And yes he deserves all the respect and honor due. A mighty warrior that has held true to his beliefs and should be commended!

God bless you ladies for standing up for your pastor.

That is commendable.

Actually it is Malden, MO where he was my pastor.

While he is a great man, I still don't like the WPF split.

You may not like the split, however, an organization does not save anyone it is just a fellowship of belivers and if I am not mistaken the UPCI is a pastorial fellowship not a church fellowship, just because your pastor is a licensed pastor of the UPCI does not mean you are a member of the UPCI. Anyway, there are great men of God in both fellowships and I pray for them everyday that they make the right decisions and that revival takes place as this is the ultimate goal (reaching the lost) and in these forums a lot of ugly and disrespectful things were said about these men and yet most of us call ourselves "christians" the Bible still says "...touch not my annointed and do my prophets no harm.." harm can be done verbally if not phisically. God Bless

Hello Neighbor!!!!!

A friendly Howdy from Raleigh UPC.

And yes, your pastor has always been an honorable man in my eyes as well.
Some of the best memories of youth camps involve the Godairs.

Yeah, I Have found it....... "interesting" that many who bash their decisions to leave and start another org, also bashed their stands on their beliefs and suggested they LEAVE the org.

Sometimes I think it just boils down to folks thinking that if someone believes differently than they do, they should be trashed.
Especially if it involves standards.
Double that if the person takes a stand over it and makes changes because of it.
