Among the guys debating tonight I'm most impressed with Giulani and Huckabee - yes Huckabee! I'm liking him more as I listen to him and watch him.
Giulani is capable, intelligent and persuasive.
Mitt Romney is very good looking and "presidential" looking too. Well, you know -- it is TV after all. LOL. He does have some good things to say, which is probably partly why he is where he is tonight.
McCain and Thompson have been mostly quiet except to address the questions presented by Charlie Griffin, the host. Perhaps Thompson simply can't talk quickly enough to keep up with the fray?
Ron Paul? Seems to be struggling a bit and not taken real serious by some of the other candidates.
Of course it's still VERY early on. Just a few thoughts by from a Canadian looker-on.
To be honest, I haven't paid much attention to the whole thing...sounds terrible I know.
I tuned into the Republicans for a hit second, and then cut it off.
If the Dems are on, I may see what they're about...
Not watching. no real point, the media will pick their winners. what I am doing is trying to figure out which one is most right. (none of them are all right)
Every time I hear Huck, I like him. every time I read about him, I dont like him.
as for the Dems? there are only 3 that matter and all 3 are died in the wool Marxists. Sadly one of them has a 60% chance of winning the Whitehouse.

I used to be WAY more interested in politics and elections than I've been the last several years. Both American (I do have a Yankee husband after all) and Canadian politics.
Even when I was a teen, I'd argue politics and issues with the dads of my friends and later with male co-workers, guys at church, etc. They loved it!

My dad was and my brothers are very political and are at different ends of the deal...mom has to ask them to NOT talk politics when they are together.
I've been listening to the debates all week and I really like Huckabee. I think Romney comes across a bit fake. McClain is too old. Hillary is evil, and even though he is Democratic...Obama sounds like MLK and it may be time for an African American to lead us...not because of skin color...but because it is time.
