oh and btw, "their ranks"? From what I've read, many here don't even believe in OP., acts2:38, or hardly anything but their OWN interpretations, so
how is J Osteen any different from those 'ranks'

I happen to LIKE Joel Osteen, I see that he is called not so much to
preach but to just
speak positive things from the word of GOD, peppered with numerous annecdotes, and while we
do need to focus on the goodness of GOD , I prefer meat/salad first, with my meal,
then dessert., not
solely dessert.
Perhaps the salad/dessert only fellowships will be what draws
some of those never before interested in things of GOD.
The HolyGhost is omnipresent and
can detect the hungry/thirsty souls, then fill them!
