If my understanding is correct Luther was most anti-semitic blaming all Jews for the crucifixtion of Christ, how absurd a notion.

Wow Pel you beat me to the punch.The early church came from a Hebrew background,by and large only a certain zealous religious faction of Jews despised Christ ,there was a remnant of them that believed according to The Election of Grace.

Certainly Luther did some good.But the church that was started at Pentecost never went out,true Biblical Christianity was practiced long before the Reformation period.

Good question ... it's like asking ... do facts about Thomas Jefferson owning slaves, sleeping around w/ one of them, and not officially recognizing the children he fathered w/ Sally Hemings negate his body of work/involvement with the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights?
