My passion is similar.
I chose my major based on income, strictly so I'd have resources to do what I want to do. I've worked out some budgets as well, trying to figure out what percentage of my income I'll truly need to support my family. Well, to support them the way I'd like to. I know how little I can live on, I hope to keep these lessons in the forefront of my mind and raise the standard of living for multiple other families while I raise my own.
Oh, my passion? To provide support and encouragement, and "the way out" for people who want "out" of poverty, the system, whatever circumstance life has thrown at them before they realize how difficult it is to get out and quit trying. Now that I'm back living for God, my hope is that these same people will see Jesus in me and seek Him as they improve their circumstances.
I guess my secondary passion is to live the Truth I want people to hear. I don't want to preach it, I want to live it, breathe it, have it radiating from me for others to see. "God I want others to see You when they look at me. Nothing of me, only You."
Hmm. Maybe that's my primary passion afterall. All of these things could be a big part of the driving force behind helping people find their way out.

This may be spiritually, physically, emotionally, etc. From my experiences, I've learned that if you have something to offer others, you get their attention. What about those who seemingly have nothing to offer you and the only gain you get is what you give?
When I do something and KNOW I am not going to get anything in return from the people other than the satisfaction of knowing I have helped them and knowing that I've made a difference in their lives for the better, that's when I am content knowing that I have done the Will of God.
Sounds simple - but it involves giving everything.
I can't really act on the above as I would like, I have to go into the world and work for money so many hours per day. Even as a child I always had a compassion for those who were helpless and hurting.

I lost all my passion. I am just waiting for God to give it back to me.

My passion is seeing others make Jesus real in their lives and trade in their religion for a relationship!! Nothing tops that!

To help disabled people and their families know Christ. We started a ministry this year for this purpose. Most people with a disabled person in their family do not go to any church at all. I want to make it a place where they would feel welcomed and loved. So they can have the support they need in their families. To minister to the parents or guardians. So they would know that they are not alone in this struggle.

I am the least passionate about men. Have no will to love them or hate them...just lack passion about anything right now. Still going through transition.
Thanks for making me laugh...felt good

Nahkoe,
Unlike you, I chose my profession to help others and didn't much care about money. It holds little to no value to me.
Just like you, I want to have my Father's eyes.
Regardless, I have lost my passion...and am just coasting right now. I have always lived for others, and what I could contribute to the kingdom, but I have realized that others, and the kingdom don't really need me. It will go on with or without me. Traumatizing for a Martha like me.
Blessings, Rhoni
