They are used to good church and good standards.
Sounds like they will just have to limit themselves to their daddy's church their whole lives and never move or visit anywhere else so they can be sure to be in a "good church".

What did the UPC youth camp preacher do to warrant walking out on him? Was his image on one of those evil screens? Did he have on short sleeves? Did he mention sports? Please do tell !!!!!

Well, Elder...I'm sure that Elder and Sis. C and the Saints there are used to "good church"...what ever that really means.

As for "good standards," I have learned that just because folks may not 'look' like me is not an indication they do not have "good standards."

For your info. there are lots of churches for my kids to visit. More than they have time to visit. They are not limited to our church at all.

Are you going to share with the class what transgression the UPC youth camp preacher made that caused you holier than thou folks to get up and leave?

I'll not respond to anyone who insults my kids.

Exactly how did I insult your kids? You seem very proud of the fact that they go to UPC meetings and think everybody is worldly there.

Over the last few weeks you have made posts about this at least twice. The first time was when you said they went to some UPC youth meeting and reported back that the young folks were "worldly".

Then here on this thread you report how your son wanted to leave in the middle of preaching at the UPC youth camp.

You related it as if it was something to be proud of. I think you clearly exhibit a "holier than thou" perspective on here through these posts.

Perhaps if you shared the UPC preachers trangression that caused your son to want to leave we would all applaud him for his superior spiritual awareness.

The evangelist could have taken a half-time smoking break during his sermon!

Pianoperson & Hooverman,

Somehow I have a feeling that the preacher's trangression was a lot milder. I am thinking short sleeves or a reference to playing some evil sport like softball with a church team or something.

I was hoping Mr. Holehearted would share with us the transgression that required walking out on the preacher.
