I'm not talking about hypocrites. A hypocrite is one who says he believes one thing and does another...that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking of some UPC churches who believe one way and live that way and other UPC churches who believe a different way and live a different way. They're not united to be sure.

No, you would be adding to the Word by saying, well the Bible doesn't say this is wrong, but I'm going to say it's wrong because ____________; add whatever reason. That is adding to the Word.

Pride comes in all forms as I pointed out, not just standards.
