Re: Trying to Rescue Another from HMH Doctrine
In my opinion Paul was teaching that when women pray or prophesy as part of the body ministry they are to put on a veil or headcovering of some kind showing they are under a mans headship. Also as a reinforcing point he uses natures covering of a womans long hair to show that it is in order for a woman to have a covering on her head.
I dont see anything about it being wrong for a woman to trim her hair tho it seems to be teaching their hair should be long.

Actually, it is very relevant as none of us on this forum is the pastor to this lady. Therefore, the only correct answer should have been to refer her back to her spiritual authority. All other answers are incorrect unless she were sitting under false teaching. However, this does not appear to have been the case.

You keep avoiding this question?
|
The correct grammatical construction of the question would be, "What is the whole listing of those things required to make it into the kingdom of God?"
And the answer is, obey everything that was commanded by Jesus and the Apostles. This means that we are to abstain from every wicked thing, all appearances of evil, ungodly associations, taking pleasure in anything that God finds offensive, wearing of anything that would cause another to sin, modest and decent apparel that is not ostentatious. We are to pray, fast, sing, study the Scripture, love our neighbor, preach Hell hot and Heaven beautiful, live right, be separate from the world, proclaiming His birth, death, burial, and resurrection, and living our lives as a constant testimony to the power of Jesus' name, and the efficacy of His gracious salvation.

Repent and accept what CHRIST DID ON THE CROSS!!!!
Why is THAT so hard to understand for some people?
Who do people think they are that they CAN WORK THEIR way into heaven?
Man oh man, there is some HAYWIRE THINKING out there in some churches!!!

Um, you put her spiritual authority on a Pastor, really? Got Scrip for that? NT?
Hard to say if that might have been the case, as "someone" telling her "no more angels" doesn't sound as if her Pastor did...is she single, DB? But I don't think that that would matter here; better pack a lunch, Jay.

Re: Trying to Rescue Another from HMH Doctrine
Who is the single woman's spiritual authority?
Who is the married woman's spiritual authority?
