What you are observing is one side who have been duped and dumped on for decades finally standing up with the same zeal. You can tell they don't like it one bit... lol

Yes, it does because people are just people.
I think we should let people serve God the best way they know how and feel they need to.
There is no other way we can work together if we don't allow for differences.
Each side, in some instances, blast the others for their inconsistencies. We all have them whether it's church related or not.
I think I just preached.

If you don't think tradition isn't a tool of Satan, look how he used it pitting the pharisees against Jesus and the N.T. Church. Tradition is a tool of the devil.

I'm all for working together. I would be honored to join with you to win the lost. I'm not against anyone's personal standards. I'm against making one's personal standards an universal barometer for salvation. That is what hacks me off the most.

Every organization has some form of tradition. People settle into that because it's natural and if feels like a boundary that is safe. I don't care what you are involved in you will invariably, at some point, have people saying, "We've always done it this way."
Then another branch will shoot out because they want to form their own faction and you start over again. That's how history is usually formed.

Whatever will we do with Paul's admonition in II Thessalonians 2:15 "Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle."
I doubt he would respond kindly to being told he was using a tool of the devil.

Thomas Nelson's Study Bible says that word tradition when taken in context is referring to the "revealed truth of God which contains no error." It is obvious the traditions many stick with contains error, thus Paul's traditions are different than traditions that are followed today.
