To children one is often as real as the other. What a shaky ground to build ones faith in God on.

It sounds like an urban legend that would be circulated by a freakycon.

All the more reason why Christian parents should not lie to their children. When the children of Christian parents ask about Santa Claus and the Easter bunny, parents should tell them the truth.

I was going to address how we do use pagan traditions in our lives. But I see Daniel A already address the calendar system, which is what I was going to bring up.

But I have noticed that one seems to be ok with everyone.

NOT that anyone would pick and choose of course. (TIC)

Don't y'all EVER say anything else to me about FACIAL HAIR! Lord have mercy!
Your facial hair is not unbibical.

I will say the same thing that someone else said.

I grew up in a UPC church we had Easter egg hunts on the saturday before Easter and I was never confused about what Easter was really about. I KNEW there was no such thing as a fertility bunny to worship. It may have its origins in paganism as do our calendars, but I don't worship in named pagan whose name is used in the calendars either.

Again, let us pick and choose which paganism we shall follow and be a part of, right?
