BTW, Ken Haney doesn't work in the church as GS. His office is in the WEC building in St. Louis, MO. Not in a church. His earnings are honest also.

I didn't call it GOD's Church. I said if I am working in GOD's Church, then it better be in a position that GOD authorized. I plan to work in GOD's church as a pastor/overseer/elder, and those are all Biblical appointments.

Did you not say that Ken Haney's position was unbiblical? If the UPC isn't part of God's church, then what do you care what Ken Haney does for a living or what position in the UPC he holds, claiming that it's unbiblical? It wouldn't have to be, would it?

Ok, here's how I assess the situation, perhaps I'm wrong (watch those words get bolded and a snide comment made), GOD's Church is the One GOD, apostolic, NT Church. The Church is all the people that believe this things. The UPC (although one could argue that people are "IT") is a man-made, or synthetic, organization, and it is not part of GOD's Church. No one is going to be saved because they were UPC, and in the grand scheme of things, the UPC will be irrelevant in Heaven (and it won't be eternal, but the Church will!). I don't see it as a "You built 10 churches through the UPC foreign missions." it will be, "You built 10 apostolic churches." To take a step further, the term apostolic I don't even believe is the best, and I try to remember not to capitalize it, because it's a concept and not an institution. The church is Christian. So, Haney, I believe is part of GOD's Church, his UPC position is unauthorized Biblically, but all through the history of GOD's Church, people have done things they ought not.

Elders and the rest of the ministry have a right to be fed by the Gospel. It is their right to use or not use that right. My assembly's pastor/elder does not use that right, neither did Paul. However, if the assembly was able to support my pastor/elder, I hope he would allow us to support him, financially, to take some of the workload off of his shoulders. However, he is blessed in that he is a multi-talented person, and has a secular job that meets his needs and which he seems to enjoy (he's an engineer).
As to the rest of what you said (that I omitted, but not because it wasn't important), I agree with your premise. The UPC is NOT God's church, but the people who are saved, whether they are UPC or not, are.
