This is not the world's spirit ... Sister CS ... I believe and admire your trust for your pastor ...but to expect everyone to have that same trust is not realistic .... JMO

Not what I meant at all. That's the point, they are held accountable, but that doesn't make them any less human. We just have a greater responsiblity and must make an accounting for the things that we declare.
But like I said earlier, when the sun goes down and he goes to bed, he's a man just like any one else and he has days just like you do. He's just held to a higher standard than most.

Sorry, but I do not agree with that. I believe that there is a spirit of questioning everything that comes from the world, and it has entered into the church world. They question everything, and this becomes unhealthy for them, because it causes them to doubt the very Word of God that comes from a man of God's mouth. They have no faith and trust for anything Godly, and it will eventually lead them down the wrong path.

Actually sis, this is 'New Age' theology- question authority, question everything- you are your own destiny...yada yada yada...I have tons of books on the subject. It is infiltrating our school systems at an alarming rate, and they are allowed to implement it into their curriculum because the New Age movement is not classified as a religion.

I believe in subjecting to the man of God ... and have no problem doing so in my own life ... I have a pastor who has authority over me .... and I also believe in the priesthood of all believers ... something my pastor espouses and teaches.

If I was asked to pay tithes, I would ask the askee to live like a levite.
