Cupcake, you do not understand. I will NEVER have a computer in my home. I will ONLY use the neighbors. It is the same concept as those Apostolics who say they will never have a television because it's sin but will watch youtube.

Anyway, you're more like a wanna-AIN'T!!

It does appear that you still hold to some of the core values of dress, living etc.

Do you ever wonder if you are moving too far to one side or the other?

Do you ever wish for simpler days that you have let escape you?

There are just honest questions and are not, in any way, meant to speak any ill of where you are in your life now... I am just curious how you, as someone who has experience a wider range of experiences in this area, see the church world around you, how you feel about your current direction in life etc.

Thanks
I have not been avoiding this post, just not sure if I up to answering all this on a public forum. I may address some of this a bit later.

Not a problem at all.

There is no need to even answer the post if you are uncomfortable dealing with such issues that are so personal in a public forum. I completely understand and respect your privacy and wisdom.

Thanks.

Concerning similarities... I wrote a small article published in the Pentecostal Hereld (I think Sept. of 2005) titled "Radical Reformers". I am not sure I still have it in electronic format, but I will share it sometime.

Today, 6/3/07 it has been 12 years since my father died.

He was working close to my home when he died. It was my duty to go and tell Mom and my eight siblings... I'll never forget the difficulty... how I thought I was keeping my composure and then would break down. How I tried to speak and no sound came out.

We are all getting together to remember him today... His children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren. There are about fifty of us now.

This type of anniversary is extremely difficult. I'm always glad when they're over.

So sorry for your loss.........

I pray peace in the remembrances of the loss and rejoice with you in the remembrances of all that he was, and continues to be, to you and your family.

These are bittersweet times but I have hope that it will be more sweet than bitter as you celebrate who your father was in life and how he lives on in each of you.
