Let's say the party strips Trump of the nomination.

1. Who will they give it to? I mean, seriouy, who stands a chance of being somebody other than Business As Usual?

2. What will MILLIONS of people think, upon seeing Trump denied the nomination, after everything that has happened?

The party is committing suicide, right in front of everyone.

There simply won't be a point to having a GOP. What for? All they have done so far is give Ocommunist everything he wanted.

When a rational person looks at WHO is arrayed against Trump, it sure makes him look awfully palatable.

Too bad the rank and file neverTrumpers can't see what's going on. Oh well, adapt and learn or be left behind in the dust.

What propelled Trump's popularity goes way beyond Trump, and it cannot be stopped now. The "Trump Train" doesn't even need Trump, which become clear after November, I bet.

When they did not use their mandate they were given in 2014, it was only a matter of time.
And the leadership of the party is embarassing.
They want to act as though they share no responsibility and it is all Trump's fault.
They created the environment for Trump to flourish.

Yes, and Ted Cruz was one of the few standing up to the Establishment. But, hey, let's nominate and support a Liberal Democrat running a stealth campaign inside the Republican Party. That should fix things.

More dispiriting than watching Trump act like Trump is watching his loyal supporters sacrifice their integrity in the name of defending the vile, the reprehensible, and the ignorant. So we’re treated to people tweeting and arguing with a straight face that the Star of David on an image that originated with white supremacists is no more ominous than a sheriff’s star or a Frozen coloring book.
