These days, a fella can get a degree of sorts and create his own interpretation of Greek words, he of course is centuries removed from the ancient meanings.

Centuries removed from the ancient meanings?
So, being 15 centuries closer to the time of Christ is a plus as far as translation goes?

I don't believe Jesus and His apostles spoke Elizabethan English.
They spoke Aramaic and Greek.
