That is why I have a feeling, personally, that it had to do with the DS vote. I could be totally wrong, that is just my personal opinion. There was soooo much positive talk about the formation of the new district happening....that is why it was shocking when the vote came in.

Dan....I think he is going to have his hands full....with or without his stand on the formation of the new district.

The Western District Culture. You have had to live and experience it, to really understand. It is a unique thing out here.

Politics ... SoCali ... is politics .... no matter the culture ... the only way ... I could see him being for the split now ... would be that he puts his decision ... over politics.

A newly elected leader will almost always fall upon the mandate given him ... it's the way of the jungle ....

AA ... has a mandate ... as of now... to keep the district unified.

This sounds like a "mutiny" ... IMO ... it will be used against the fellowship .... if the TV resolution passes and give another reason to justify an exodus

Dan, when San Fransisco was founded there was a saloon there called the Bucket-o-blood. It was a rough and tumble place where men died on a regular basis, where, men where kidnapped and taken aboard ships where they were forced to serve for sometimes years before they ever got back to America and were able to sneek off the ship. At this bar, it was not uncommon to have fights every night....

yet people kept going to this bar night after night, year after year. it was THE place to be.

The WD can be exactly like that.
