Re: Things That Aren't In The Bible...

It is not in the bible that the hinder parts of God that Moses saw was the ancient History Moses recorded in Gen 1-11.

I wonder if YHWH showed Moses the back of Jesus beaten to a bloody pulp?

ok I'm a bit late with this but did Jesus really say "whale" considering that people did not speak English at that time? I don't think so.
I have heard people say "Peter said Holy Ghost," arguing that "Holy Spirit" is wrong. No, Peter did not say "Holy Ghost;" he did not speak English.
Neither Jesus nor Jonah called it a whale.
The KJV translators did.

I had a UPC preacher tell me one time that a ghost is a departed spirit and when Jesus departed He sent back His Spirit so Holy Ghost is preferred over Holy Spirit.

Thought maybe if I narrowed it down you could find what I haven't.
We don't know when the apostles were baptized or by whom.
It seems that John and Andrew were disciples of John the Baptist and began to follow Jesus after John pointed Him out to them so we assume those two had been baptized by John. We don't read anywhere about them being rebaptized after they left John and started following Jesus. Andrew brought his brother Peter to Jesus. Jesus called Philip and Philip brought Nathaniel but again there is no record of when (or if) they were baptized. Ref John 1:35-51. We do know that Jesus baptized according to John 3:22-24 but perhaps He delegated all the baptizing to His disciples as it seems to say in John 4:1-3. There are some who believe that the 120 (including the 12 apostles) who were baptized in the Spirit in Acts 2:1-4 were among the 3000 baptized in water in Acts 2:41

I've heard that quoted before.

also
"mercy sought, mercy found
from the stirrup to the ground"

also
"cleanliness is next to godliness"

and
"charity begins and ends at home"

But I do believe Moses finally saw the face of God when he was atop the mount of transfiguration and saw Jesus' face shine like the sun!

Please note the bolded portion of this statement within the context of my initial post..... A re-examination has alerted me to the fact that I should have written:

I apologoze for the "oversight."
