Let's tread lightly, maybe Pel once trusted God with all his heart for something... and then it appeared that God didn't come through. Sometimes someone can go through a disappointment so devestating, it rocks their faith in God and the supernatural.
In Exodus, it says the magicians of Egypt did such an such. It doesn't say they faked it. How do you explain them turning staves into snakes, Frog Meister? Exodus 7 shows magik being used. He's a pretty hard sell for Jesus and nothing but Jesus. He doesn't walk around in fear or obsessed with a demon under every bush. He really lives his belief that God is bigger than anything else that's out there.
He's one of the very few people who I've found who has been real, isn't just making up a bunch of "oh yeah I did this and this when I was younger!" hocus pocus stuff.

Nahkoe, what's your opinion as to why demon spirits "oppress" and "possess" people? Also, why are some demon spirits almost retarded in how they behave and others are diabolically intelligent? Those are questions that I had after getting some experience in the realm of spiritual warfare. I know what one of the first pastors I knew taught me... however, I'm curious as to what others think.

I believe there is a vast difference between possession and oppression. I also think that more people are spiritually oppressed than our society realizes. The statistics of mental illness, depression, etc. are very high in our society. We medicate people. We define a lot of their issues psychologically... when man of those who are troubled are actually troubled by spirits. If their spiritual oppression was delt with properly, medication wouldn't be necessary.
So mental illnesses are someone being attacked by the devil?
