That is exactly right! I didn't come to expect it here, but it's been growing and growing. I think that there are more people who have left the UPC posting here than ever before and it has naturally turned into this type of atmosphere. No disrespect to Lois Gibson, but the Spiritual Abuse forum was not my cup of tea. Now, AFF is becoming Part II, IMO.
I wanted it to remain a place that is an "open forum" to discuss everything, but now it's turned into a bash fest! I'm just not happy with it right now and am taking a break.

I don't want to hold this fort. This place is becoming worse than CARM at times and that's saying something.

When Mirth started the thread on the UPC and began speaking of it as a cult, I immediately thought of the Spirit Abuse forum and wondered if AFF was going that route. http://www.apostolicfriendsforum.com...ad.php?t=29987
Discussing doctrine is one thing but constantly bashing the UPC and UPC ministers (including Stoneking) is wrong. Why is it wrong? Because they are children of God. They are His servants just like we are. Show some compassion and pray for them if you think they are in error. We all reap what we sow and God does not show partiality.
