Sacramento north would be one District. stockton to Bkfld. and the Bay would be Central (which would be were I would be) and grapevine south would be the southern. also, Nevada wants their own district too

I haven't hear that...camp meetings and youth conv would be kinda small if limited to just each one of those districts though, compared to now

I did answer it, just after I saw it the first time. I said the same thing we do on radio, internet and Newsweek

I know of one pastor who, about 17 years ago started down the road of allowing video, they progressed to television and before long were allowing women to cut their hair, etc., etc. After about 9 years of that progression, the pastor was convicted in prayer - God dealt with him - and he went to the pulpit and told his church, "I have led you wrong. We are going back to the old ways. We're getting rid of our televisions....etc." He now consideres himself a conservative Apostolic. We cannot leave God out of the picture. He, if we will hear His voice and harden not our hearts as in the days of the provocation - will talk to us and call us as a people to repent. Repentance throws salt and sand onto the slippery slope so that we can reverse our course. I believe that He is looking for repentance among those who are called by His name that have departed from the old paths...

If I remember, that person was from Oregon :-)

Last year part of Nevada wanted to create a new section due to lengthy travel for fellowship meetings and sectional conferences and that passed. Having talked to most of the major players in the WD recently I believe that your information is a rumor of very limited proportions.

Last years resolution 6 AND the resolution for TV advertising submitted at SLC both were worded in a way that PULLED FROM THE TEXT OF THE MANUAL the portion prohibiting ministering on television. Neither resolution (Both written by the same man) was just about advertising. It's more than a slippery slope - someone was greasing the slope.

When refering to the slippery slope I am speaking of those arguments that predict in absolute terms what WILL come next...in other words "today it's advertisement and other outreach/ministry means on television, tomarrow it will be etc etc etc"

Technically, your argument is correct.
Realistically, your argument is incorrect.
Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. (I forget who said that.)
Remember, we're talking JUST advertising, as you stated earlier in the thread.
