Be careful - you are about to be named among the UPC bashers - I already made the mistake of mentioning the UPC in my post and was called on it!
BUT honestly it was a statment not a bash......
I saw it as just a statement as well. I know situations where this has happened. I don't think failing to mention other religions or orgs is relevant here anyway.
If this were a Baptist forum, I'd be talking about Baptists and not Apostolics or the UPC.

Why can't you talk of it going on elsewhere? Especially if it is known to happen elsewhere? Why keep it specific to a group that some here would as soon vilify and condemn?
Seems better to keep these topics in the generic instead of the specific. It is much easier to address the core issues, which are not organizational in any fashion.

I think the org cares very deeply. It affect us all negatively.
But there are procedures to follow. Things must be proven. Sometimes that can take a while.
I understand that things don't happen overnight, but I know situations that have happened where the officials were informed, suggestions given, but no follow-up done.
If it were the song leader, they would have been sat down and eventually excommunicated.
