You know its funny, my husband HATED my hair when I first cut it short. It had been long for so long, and he is an Aspie, and absolutely hates change. (He loves it now though, but wouldn't admit it for the longest time!)

Mrs, my husband would be devastated--and probably MAD at me if I cut my hair short. He probably wouldn't make a fuss if it were trimmed, but cut short--he would throw a major fit--and be a major pain!

I'm afraid on this one, you are wrong.

He hates lipstick, too. I can get away with gloss, but he nearly gags at the sight of waxy red lips--I think it has to do with childhood trauma associated with a kissy overly lipsticked Grandma or Aunt.

Mine would too. He says it isn't ladylike. He is, of course, entitled to his opinion. I personally prefer long hair. I just don't want it to look raggedly and split.
