You people disgust me sometimes.

It's one thing to allow ANYONE, including backsliders, to post here at will. Admin has been very kind in that regard.

Another entirely to openly tolerate, revel in, and promote sin. BTW, drunkenness IS sin. Admin shouldn't be required to put up with that garbage.

The whole "it's cool to be a backslider and promote my wickedness on AFF" thing is a little out of hand.

I think you need to re-read...because I never saw this...I saw people talking about enjoying a glass of wine or a Maragrita from time to time not once did any speak of getting drunk...........you are over reacting which is not a surprise....

I have never questioned your ability as a pastor PP ... even when I've disagreed w/ your views .... this is troublesome indeed.
I sure am.... Now.

Your entire purpose was to debate about whether or not drinking was wrong.

Of course, there are just enough rejects on here to really enjoy that drivel.

How about Dan Alicea's comment, "I've always wondered what kind of drunk I would be?"

How idiotic is that statement?!
Your rude

No, you've just called me a dishonest Pharisee.

I don't doubt your ability. I do question the wisdom of saying, "I've always wondered what kind of drunk I would be" on a public forum.

Hey, isn't there a discussion about your favorite alcoholic drink going on somewhere?

Yea, I say unto thee (all) - cease the personal banter here or some will be taking a break!

I know this question is to Dan, but practically speaking, yes, it would have almost always had alcohol in it.
Squeezing grape juice out of grapes is a labor intensive process which does not result in a lot of juice for all the work put into it. Furthermore, unless it was drunk within hours after it was squeezed, it would have started to go bad.

Fermenting grape juice into wine is a CONTROLLED process that keeps the juice from going bad. Left to its own devices grape juice would turn into a stringy smelly mess just sitting on the counter, but if allowed to ferment just right, results in wine. Even the "Good Stuff", which is what Jesus produced!

The same can be said for cheese.... which is the controlled "spoilage" of milk.

.
And I've addressed your concern about my wisdom ... Furthermore, I've clearly stated that in my life I've consumed alcohol no more that 5 or 6 times .... this is a case of taking things out of context and posting on sheer emotion.
