Re: Chris reed joins the ministry elite
The individual who made this video walks you through the scam that individuals like Reed pull on their audiences. Nothing that Chris Reed or Mike Bickel do from the pulpit is remotely Biblical. It is all lies, and emotional manipulation, to lead their victims into following them. William Branham, Peter Popoff, Robert Tilton, and Jim Bakker, all ecclesiastical conmen. Even after they get exposed, they never die out. They just move their con game to another area.

You ain't kidding my brother.
But these jokers won't do house church. There's no money in it. They need a crowd, and they need to hold control. Imagine this pseudo ecclesiastical psychic humbug standing up in a house meeting and telling people their names? It's a house church, everyone knows everyone. The religious charlatan is laughed off by the saints and the guests. Chris Reed wouldn't stand an ice cubes chance out on the streets of Fort Lauderdale or in Miami. He needs to be on a stage with the rest of the prophetic clowns. Telling people random mess to oohhs and aahhs. It's so painful that these men (and women) use their habitual lying to harm sincere sweet people who desire a supernatural experience with Jesus. Just consider, these "prophets" know what they are doing. They know it isn't the Holy Ghost, they know they are using deception. My lands, Chris' mistress admitted that Chris prophesied over here to gain here trust to begin their affair. Poor vulnerable souls.

Re: Chris reed joins the ministry elite
It's possible that several things will contribute to the fall of the mega church industrial complex:
In the 60s and 70s, due to Marxist ideologies promoted in our society, women entered the work force in majority rather than caring for home and children on a full time basis. We now have young people who are desiring genuine connections and family atmosphere in their church.
The pandemic where churches closed and people were isolated and needed to worship together in homes.
The ongoing scandals of the mega church industrial complex revealing the abuse of power and authority that this structure promotes.
Living in a world that is being driven by technological advances that are leaving people longing for something genuine like real human connection.
What we can offer people is a church family.
May every false teacher and prophet be exposed and fall in Jesus name!

Re: Chris reed joins the ministry elite
"Developing Your Prophetic Filter" by Chris Reed:
*Book Overview:*
Chris Reed's book equips believers to discern and refine their prophetic gifts, navigating the complexities of prophetic ministry.
1. Prophetic Filter: The ability to discern and filter prophetic impressions, thoughts, and feelings.
2. Five Core Filters:
- Heart Filter (motives and intentions)
- Spirit Filter (discerning spiritual influences)
- Mind Filter (analyzing thoughts and emotions)
- Will Filter (submitting to God's will)
- Faith Filter (trusting God's goodness and sovereignty)
Practical Applications:
1. Recognize and overcome common pitfalls (fear, pride, assumption)
2. Cultivate humility, accountability, and community
3. Develop discernment through prayer, Scripture, and spiritual practice
4. Learn to deliver prophetic words with clarity and sensitivity
5. Integrate prophetic ministry with evangelism and discipleship
Core Principles:
1. Prophecy is a relational gift, not just informational.
2. Prophetic ministry requires character and integrity.
3. Discernment is essential for effective prophetic ministry.
Takeaways:
1. Develop a robust prophetic filter through spiritual growth and practice.
2. Balance prophetic gift with character and humility.
3. Prioritize relationship and community in prophetic ministry.

Prophetic exercises and hands on activations.
I missed that in the epistles.

Well seems we found about those "hands on activations" in this thread and the other one.
I really have a hard time understanding how people fall for this stuff. Does nobody read Acts and the story about Simon? Does nobody realise Jesus and the apostles didn't go around charging "tuition"?
I mean, come on.

But that’s the question. How, do some sweet sincere people fall for these charlatans? The poor woman who was lured into the situation with Reed. Others who have lost their entire life savings to those butchers. The same with McDojos. How do individuals buy into the whole chi force nonsense. It’s like Benny Hinn, jacket waving meets Bruce Lee. Are people gullible? Or do they so want the nonsense to be true?
