First responders are vital to the safety of our communities. (police, fire, EMS, etc) and teachers are vital to our future. It's the Unions, government corruption and benefit packages that are hurting our state budgets, not necessarily the number of workers. (Waste & corruption) Let's see Romney squirm out of this one....Romney playing politics, Walker serious about his job and America's future.
Who is the idiot?

PO, while I think it is idiotic to vote for Romney for the sole purpose to unseat a sitting president, of whom I likewise will not vote for, let them all do it.
Romney is not telling the American people the truth, just like Obama is not telling the truth. We know American cannot last 4 more years with Obama. What's going to happen here...when we go down in flames from Romneynomics (if he gets elected) he will pull the same old line that he is cleaning up Obama's mess, like Obama is blaming Bush's mess, like Bush blamed Clinton's mess, like Clinton blamed Bush Sr's mess...on and on.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I agree and thank you for being astute enough to know it.
Someone sent me this article that was written 64 days ago, it's just as true for us today as it was then.
Quote:
Conservatives Continue to Resist Mitt 'Anyone But Obama' Romney
Though many conservative Republicans admire the congressional leaders who have jumped on the Romney bandwagon of late, it seems there are other, perhaps the more independent among them, who are still thinking for themselves and not relying solely on the opinions of others. Maybe that’s not bad either.

I thought the video I posted from the Texas Convention was very interesting.
Basically, what happened around 4:30 is that Chairman Munisteri recognized a point of information about an amendment to RPT rule 38 - it is our state rule governing the binding of delegates to the national convention.
The question was whether this rule would supercede national GOP rule 39 - that candidates are unbound.
What the woman was asking is - "If this rule is passed, will our delegates be bound by the primary results?"
Munisteri confers with Bill Crocker, RNC committeeman and chairman of the state rules committee, turns to the mike and then says "no". He quickly moves to the next item not making a big deal of it. Someone that was there stated that the video doesn't really reflect it, but there was some degree of gasping in the crowd. So, on first ballot, no delegates are bound.
It's just very interesting that the question was raised.
Santorum is going with his delegates to try and stop whatever policies that Paul's people are wanting to put forward. It's going to be a lot of fun.
