I of course have no idea who these three commenters are. It's just something I saw on the Internet.

I'll bet that last guy, the guy awaiting "moderation," probably has even preached for Paul Baumeister's pastor. In fact, he seems like the kind of guy who was once tapped to fill in and preach a camp meeting where Paul Baumeister's pastor was scheduled to preach when that pastor was delayed due to a family member's brief hospitalization.

That last commenter probably spent a good part of that week with Paul Baumeister's pastor and has cherished memories of the one-on-one time they spent together. Both he and Paul Baumeister's pastor probably received a lot of positive feedback about the preaching at that camp many years ago. Good memories.

How influential is EA anyway? I mean it as a serious question. Miss Brattified, Prax, or Hoovie?
The main reason I keep coming back to "our" forum is because we have healthy doctrinal debates and there is allowance for what I'll call a PCI position in this group that I have not found anywhere else on the web. The efforts to silence THIS position by the UPC in particular were very effective in the region where I live, which is sad given that the word "United" (ha! almost wrote "untied") in UPC referred to PAJC and PCI members uniting IN SPITE of their differences over how Acts 2:38 was applied. This forum FINALLY gives a balanced point of view to the Apostolic message, one that was
HIJACKED in the later 70's by the UPC.

I'm a tongue talking, Jesus' name apostolic, and getting on AFF has been a great experience and a tremendous encouragement.

But a word of caution to those who visit: you may just find it relaxing to actually be able to pull all those thoughts and thinking you've pushed under the carpet for so many years... and.... and... you may confront your fears and find out they are true... and become a backslider like me!

LOL! When it comes to the Apostolic realm, we are ALL considered backsliders to SOMEBODY! I don't think any one of us gets a free pass.
