It's not an argument from silence. It is a legitimate request. Show me where Jesus made as big a deal of it as many "religious" people do today. Show me where Jesus made it a test for fellowship. Show me where Jesus attached salvific significance to it.

Once again, everyone has a right to hold that opinion, but to state that it is the ONLY position, is a huge problem AND bigotted, IMO.

I love the quote from an old Holiness Sister " the Bible says lift up holy hands, all others please keep them down." Amen ! I have literally been punched in the mouth by my own father , when he asked me about Marrying # 3 in UPC I stood up like John the Baptist before Herod...I Know what I have is real! He is now on # 4 and still in UPC . Somebody really needs to pray through.

You want to link that up for me? Multiple marriages = no makeup????? I don't even know why you only want to have one cup, perhaps if you didn't provoke people to punch you in the mouth you might have visitors and need more than one cup.

Some of the most godly, faithful women I know wear makeup. They don't remotely have Jezebel spirits.

I can take you to meet a few long-haired, long-skirted, non-makeup-wearing women who do have Jezebel spirits.

Makeup, or the lack thereof, has nothing to do with it.
