I was shocked to the thread has turned to panty hose.

Many years ago I heard a preacher getting ALL EXCITED, preaching that them women should be wearing panty hose, it was shamful that they would be seen with out them.

I thought it a strange subject to be preaching about, but I was a brand new saint.

A week later they arrested this same preacher in a motel with a "young man"

I've never given the thought of whether a women decides for her self whether she or should not wear panty hose again.

Good Greif !!! With long sleeves, long hair, and long faces I figured you UC's had a enough stuff to scream about!

I have even heard about what color of pantyhose/underwear ladies should wear!!! he he! Man, some dudes gots them some issues.

WH - I would like to know do your wife & daughter relax their dress at home or are they always dressed "approriately" aka June Cleaver'ish?

My comment to WH was in regards to his overall modest stance on dress, but I don't see where I claimed panty hose were modest. In fact, I don't agree with him completely on this issue; yet I respect how he and his family respect each other and trust each other and submit to each other, instead of only looking out for themselves (read: their selfish desires). I respect that highly and pray for that in my family some day. I might even come to agree with him on this when my wife does come into the truth. I guarantee you that if he were my pastor, I'd submit to his desires on issues like this. Which is something I see lacking in so many here who ridicule men like WH with childish comments like "Good grief!" or "I don't know what to say. Well, I do, but I'd better not".

Anyway.......are hose more modest than not hose? I think in some cases they are, but don't get me to saying which ones because I don't really notice things like that. I was commenting more on his conservative approach, but even moreso on the relationship in his family. I think God is very happy with them!
