Sis. Rhoni,

The way it seems the enemy has fought you ever since you have been in Texas,
could it be that God has a marvelous work for you here, in His time!! Just wondering!

Hugs,

Dear Sis Falla,

LOL. I wonder too. It sure hurts being on the potter's wheel, but the alternative is the potter's field.

Yes, dear Sister! I've been on that wheel! But He doesn't keep us
there forever! There comes an end to the process! When HE has
finished, HE will be so pleased with what HE has accomplished. HE
is the one doing the molding. We are just what HE works with.

Create in me, Your image O, Lord;
Let me be all You've dreamed I could be.
And when You have finished Your work, Lord, in me,
I pray that JESUS is all they will see.

Re: Sleepless in Texas

Last night when I was fast asleep...I received two phone calls so I thought I had better get up and see what was going on. My sister was a bit anxious and told me to turn on the T.V. because a tornado was coming my way. I turned the T.V. on and sure enough...on HWY 121 between Flower Mound and Lewisville...was a storm brewing. the lightning flashed, the hail hit my skylite, the sky was dark, and the wind roaring...I sat int he hall and listned for about 15 minutes then I thought about it: If it is my time - nothing will stop it; I am going back to bed. I fell sound asleep and woke up to a beautiful sunshiney day

Gotta love a storm that rocks you to sleep!

Blessings, Rhoni

P.S. It tore roofs off in Coffeyville, and did a lot of damage but my place and I were just fine!!!

Re: Sleepless in Texas

Sis. Rhoni,

We also got word that a tornado was right over our city and the sirens were
going off. I had just prepared for bed when I got word so I got back into my
clothes, quoting scriptures and calling on the Lord. "Except the Lord keep the
city, the watchman waketh but in vain. Except the Lord keep the city, we
might as well keep sleeping. But I knew the Lord could and would keep the city.
He is the Master of the wind, the storm and HE knows exactly where I am. He
knows where all of His precious ones are.

This was not the first time this had happened and I had done the same thing. It
is so wonderful when you feel the peace of God that passeth all understanding,
keeping your heart and mind, through Christ Jesus. Calmness inside and just that
blessed assurance that there is someone bigger and more powerful that any storm.

I went out on my front porch and extended my arms and said, "Lord, KEEP our city,
keep our families, Keep our city, Keep the surrounding communities. The violent winds
never came, although there was some rain and lightening and thunder. But today once
again I know the KEEPER! He Keeps my soul, He keeps my heart and mind. What a
Saviour! What a GOD!

Hugs,

It is SO wonderful to know that HE knows each of us by name and
watches over us. I recall an old song, "My Heavenly Father Watches
Over ME". And He does! We have an "Awesome God".
