and only WE get it when someone says in a very distentive voice "Brooother OOOGsss YOU do me BETTER than I do ME!"

how sad is it that our kids will never really know what that means?

Speaking of songs - - - in Arkansas we were in tornado alley and one Wednesday night at church there was a tornado headed our way.

We all go down to the basement and of course, the electricity was out and a dear saint.....Sis. Downs starts singing....."Standing Somewhere in the Shadows" - - I was scared to death!

That is hilarious. We attended a church in FL that was like that. Everybody would start clapping after singing the last verse and would let it rip while they repeated the chorus two more times. And they always did skip the same verse.

You would have to be from Louisiana to get this one.

As a kid, we would go to Youth camp and avoid Brother Tenney like the plague the first day. then after we got all prayed up we would run find him.

that man had a way of looking at you that you just knew God was showing him all your sins! LOL! We even talked about it.

I would like a nickle for everytime I was asked "have you seen brother Tenney yet?"
