Off the side lines for a moment.
It is my understanding that this forum has always took the high road in regards to respecting the privacy of other closed Apostolic forums. RRFord was simply asking if this was still the case, or was the technicality that someone not man enough to sign his name, but willing to break forum rules, and post issues discussed on a closed forum in a blog, was enough to allow the discussion to continue.

There's nothing pretty about any of it, and quite frankly, this forum is no different than the one illustrated in the shared blog, as far as similar dynamics go.
Too bad we have decided to measure one another by mustaches, tv, skirt length, sleeves, or a lack thereof, instead of by Biblical measures.
Galatians 5:22-26 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, ...Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law....And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts...If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit...Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another."
John 13:35 "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."
Matthew 5:46-48 "For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? ...And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? ...Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." I John 4:20-21 "If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? ...And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also."
I don't say shame on KimberlyS; I say shame on all of us.
AMEN!

When you look at it like that... I see your point.
How many thousands were killed over the "left to right" versus "right to left" when crossing yourself controversy in the Dark Ages? Kind of puts our squabbles in perspective.

Brother, spare us. No need to make yourself a martyr here.
Nobody is questioning your sincerity, motive, etc.
I am referring to the EFFECT of you harping on single corner of this issue, while ignoring the central issue under discussion.
Martyr? That is priceless!
What more is there to say than what they said was wrong? I figured that kind of covers it. Beynd that it delves off into postings that just should not be.
I have no interest in the BIG, WHOPPING CENTRAL ISSUE UNDER DISCUSSION, other than to say it was wrong. How many more ways does it need to be said?
Now, I still think it was a relevant issue to determine if it really means anything to have a rule about posting things from another Forum. I got it now. We just need to let St. Mark know to start a blog and he can basically post anything he wants from other sources so long as he states it in his blog and does not directly link to the website. I got it.

Ron, I think the real trouble is that you recognize some of those initials and locations and realize they are some of your posting buddies from another forum.
For what it is worth I have already sent a PM or two to a couple of those guys expressing my disappointment that they said what they did.

Kind of puts TV and facial hair into perspective, but also shows that the more things change the more things stay the same.

I watched the video "Luther" the other night, based on the life of Martin Luther. It puts a lot of thing in perspective.
And really makes you feel kind of silly, when you look at what our squabbles are over, and realize what all had to come before this, just to make our silly differences possible.
