Now the code of ethics and their commitments made at the entrance were simply guiding principles ... now laws to govern ... I THOUGHT THAT'S WHAT ETHICS ARE???

The standards crowd are now arguing against standards of honorable behavior.

One last parting shot--liberals that do that are taking churches in the opposite direction of the AoF--tearing them away from truth.

Big difference.

This discussion can be closed by admin ... if they so choose ...

but these guidelines are also part of the written agreement and commitments found in the application for ministers.

Not really. They are arguing against what they have called dishonorable behavior in the liberals for years. The truth is, it is not dishonorable to stand up for what you believe in, against the common thought. But the irony is, that because they are doing it, it is suddenly supposed to be honorable.

Closed?

It is the Ministerial Code of Ethics. I would want my doctor to abide by his code of ethics

Maybe. But the point is that liberals have put up with the name calling about this for years. For me, it's not about back atcha, it's about pointing out something that may be more clearly seen at the moment....for the betterment of us all.

Were they "tearing them away from truth" a few years ago, pulling out so they could advertise on television?

Uhm, and this is important because? Regardless of majority/minority the difference lies in weakening or strengthening.
